Security & Crisis Information
Bronson Community Schools maintains a trained crisis response team, made up of faculty and staff, administrators, and community members. The mission of the team is to assist students and other community members in the event of a crisis in the school or in the community. Members are prepared to employ debriefing strategies to help in normalizing a crisis situation as quickly as possible and to prevent or reduce the intensity of post-traumatic stress symptoms in affected persons.
The Crisis Response Plan is a composite of the Branch County plan and one developed by the Bronson Community Schools faculty, and it details planned responses considered most likely to be effective in accomplishing the team's mission. The Crisis Response Plan is very frequently revisited and revised as new information is acquired and additional needs are identified.
