Bronson Youth in Government had the opportunity for a student (Alexis Cervantes) to participate in the YMCA Conference on National Affairs. Alexis had to compete in a proposal contest against other students from across the country.

Bronson also had two students go to the YMCA Delegation Leadership Retreat in Traverse City this past weekend. Hailey and Danna learned skills that will help foster more engagement of students at Bronson through this upcoming school year. #GDTBABV

Personal Finance students have been diving into the world of budgeting with a hands-on project. This week we used beans (Skittles, to be exact) as manipulatives to help visualize and manage their expenses. It wasn’t until they started eating their budget that we ran into some hiccups. #GDTBABV

We are pleased to inform you that Bronson Community Schools will be offering free breakfast and lunch for all students for the 2025-2026 school year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as part of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs!

In order to continue to offer this benefit to the families in our district, we need ALL households to fill out, sign, and return the Household Information Report found in student enrollment packets and on our website here: https://aptg.co/DKL9Vt

Please know that all information on the report that you provide is confidential.

In addition to our continued CEP eligibility, this report is critical in determining the amount of money that our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs like Title I A, At-risk (31a), Title II A, E- Rate, etc.

These supplemental programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:
- Instructional supports (staff, supplies & materials, etc.)
- Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
- Professional Learning for staff
- Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
- Technology

Thank you for your assistance in completing and returning the report so our district can maximize the use of available State and Federal funds, including the CEP program.

We're so excited about our new two-way communication platform, Rooms!

We know there are some issues with many of our parents logging in on the "Rooms" tab on the Bronson Community Schools app. This is due to the way the data is supposed to flow from Skyward to Rooms. We'll be working diligently to address this issue so everyone is able to login and access Rooms for their student(s) during the first week of school.

If you haven't yet, download the app so you'll be ready to go when Rooms is ready to go!
