Today, we celebrate the amazing substitute teachers who step in, step up, and make a difference every single day. Their flexibility, patience, and dedication help keep learning going strong for our students!
A very special shout-out to our district subs: Brent Bloom, Mary Ann Grate, Melissa Herman, Dawn Huff, Lisa Kubel, and Tony Myers. These individuals dedicate their time exclusively to supporting the students of Bronson Community Schools. We’re so grateful for all you do!

Congratulations to Ryan Elementary's November Students of the Month
3rd Grade- Ellianna Miller
Not only is Ellie Miller an example of a great student, she is a wonderful person. Ellie gives 100% every day, no matter what is asked of her. She follows classroom procedures, helps other students, and participates with enthusiasm. When she sees something that needs to be taken care of in the room, she does it, whether it's putting things away, cleaning the floor, or loaning someone a pencil. Ellie does an especially good job of looking out for me, offering me hugs and extra smiles whenever she sees that I need them. We are all blessed to have her in our classroom this year.
4th Grade- Emmett Bir
Emmett Bir is very proactive. He consistently does the right thing. He has great synergy. He gets along with whoever he is grouped with in class. He puts first things first and completes his assignments without being reminded. He has great determination to do great things. He works hard in the classroom to push himself to learn new things. He also shows determination at recess by pushing himself to run laps and leads the school in mileage club.
5th Grade- Sailenna Knipp
Saileanna works hard, helps without being asked, and is kind to her classmates. I have seen maturity, and all her hard work is paying off! Keep up the good work, Saileanna!
Thank you, Smitty's Pizza, for sponsoring our Students of the Month!

November 17th is National Hiking Day! Hiking is great exercise and being outdoors allows you to get away from electronics and appreciate nature’s beauty and wonder. Plus, the constant movement allows an outlet that helps our minds focus on solving the problems. Hiking also makes you happy! The hormones your body gets during physical activity help fight off anxiety, prevent loneliness and depression, and improve your mood. Hiking is for all ages making it a great opportunity to spend time with family actively!

We have another wonderful announcement to share with all of you. We get to celebrate another amazing teacher here at Ryan Elementary, Mrs. Lutz.
Mrs. Lutz was selected to receive the Amazing Teacher Award through the Sturgis Journal. Not only did Mrs. Lutz. receive the local award she was then submitted as the local representative and moved on to Nationals and won.
Mrs. Lutz grew up with ADHD, making school sometimes hard, which drove her to want to be a teacher and help others. Mrs. Lutz loves the moment when concepts finally click with students and she sees her students' faces light up.
We are so lucky to have her in our building here at Ryan Elementary. Let’s all congratulate Mrs. Lutz on this amazing award!!
