We will be going over important dates, handing out information, and answering any questions you may have as you prepare for your final weeks leading up to graduation. #GDTBABV

A couple of weekends ago, Bronson Youth in Government took three students to Lansing to participate in the YMCA Youth in Government conference. Senior Hailey Francom served as a presiding officer as the Press Editor-in-Chief. In this role, she led students from across the state in creating press releases, digital media posts, and photography and videography content used throughout the conference. Hailey is the first student from Bronson to hold this prestigious position within YIG.
The other two delegates, Braylynn and Morgan Dow, participated in legislative bodies, where they introduced, amended, and debated a variety of student-written bills from across the state. Junior Braylynn Dow also served as a family leader, facilitating discussions on a range of topics with students involved in different program areas.
All three students expressed the value of being civically engaged and hearing multiple perspectives. They challenged themselves to step outside their comfort zones and take advantage of new opportunities presented at the conference. #GDTBABV

On Wednesday, Ms. Smith's Academic English Essentials class had the opportunity to visit Anderson Elementary and partner with Mrs. Long’s class for a special reading activity.
