Ryan Elementary October Students of the Month: 3rd Grade- Novaleigh Hernandez I would like to nominate Novaleigh Hernandez for student of the month. Nova is a great example of what it means to be a leader by example. She is constantly doing the right thing when no one is watching and reminding others of the expectations in a polite and respectful way. I can always count on her to clean up around the classroom and help others in need without being asked. She has a huge heart and wants others to succeed and reminds them to persevere when things are hard. She genuinely wants the best for everyone. Nova always challenges herself, and always wants to learn more. Keep being you! Nominate by: Miss Kus 4th Grade- Johnathon Rodriguez Mora My nomination is Jonathon Rodriguez Mora. Jonny comes to school every day with a positive attitude and a smile that brightens the day for those around him. He treats classmates, teachers, and staff with respect and is always ready to listen and help others. Jonny is a student that I can always count on to make someone laugh and brighten their day. He takes his academic work seriously, always turning things in on time and striving to do his best on everything. Jonny is prepared for class, follows directions without reminders, and encourages others to stay on task too. Jonny leads by example in everything he does. His positive energy and respectful attitude make our classroom and school a better place to learn and grow. Nominated by: Miss Skirka 5th Grade- Caiden Miller Caiden Miller is a wonderful example of leadership in our classroom. He is focused on his work, quiet, and respectful. At Ryan Elementary students take on many leadership roles. Students apply for various "jobs" around the school that they are interested in and then are placed in those leadership positions. It is a great way to empower students. Check out our Morning Announcement Leaders who read our announcements every morning. # GDTBABV

Ryan Elementary's Mileage Club: Running Toward Success!

At Ryan Elementary, our students are lacing up their sneakers and hitting the track every day during recess with our exciting Mileage Club. This wonderful program gives students the chance to run daily and track the miles they’ve conquered, encouraging fitness and perseverance.

We are thrilled to share that our students have been doing an amazing job so far this year! Together, as a school community, we have already logged an impressive total of 1,453 miles. That’s a fantastic achievement that shows the dedication and enthusiasm of our young runners.

Special shoutout to the students who have already reached the 25-mile milestone (listed below!) These runners are now setting their sights on joining the elite 50 Mile Club.

Jasper Case
Damien Hastings
Olivia Maust
Grant Ferry
Kamilla Rosas

We anticipate that many more students will join them in the next few weeks. Keep up the great work, Ryan Elementary!
